Admission is $10 for an hour of gameplay, and our retro games are set to free play, so you don't need to pay for those games individually.
This way you don't have to worry about running out of credits- just hit "start" again and keep on playing!
If you'd like to play longer, we also offer an all-day pass for $25- stay until closing, and you also get in & out privileges
in case you need to take a mealbreak.
Do you take credit/debit cards?
Absolutely. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and most debit cards. We also accept Apple Pay. If it swipes or has a chip,
there's a good chance we can accept it.
Where are you located?
We now have two great locations to serve Southern California- visit us in Pasadena and Northridge!
Our Pasadena location is at 28 South Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105. We are a half-block south of Colorado Blvd, so you can easily reach all of
Old Town Pasadena from our location.
Our Northridge location is at 8943 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324. We are a half-block south of Nordhoff St, right near Cal State Northridge.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes- our Pasadena location has a large parking structure across the street (on the corner of Raymond and Green).
If you enter before 10pm, your first 90 minutes of parking is free (no validation needed). There is
also limited street parking available nearby.
Our Northridge location has a large parking lot behind the building (you can turn on Rayen St. for easy entrance).
There are also limited street parking spots available in front.
Do you validate parking?
Unfortunately the Pasadena parking structure is owned by the city, so there is no validation available. But the first 90 minutes is free anyway (and only $2 per hour after that).
The Northridge parking is open and available, and no validation is needed.
Nope! We are a straight up arcade. Small snacks and soft drinks will be available inside the arcade. Additionally, both of our locations have lots of nearby restaurants to check out.
Are you hiring?
Thank you for your interest, but we are fully staffed and no longer accepting applications. Follow us to hear about future opportunities though!
Do you have any discounts?
We have an awesome Rewards Program called Fivestars- it is totally free and you earn points towards a free hour in the future.
Next time you visit, ask us to help get your points started. We also offer a 10% discount for groups of 10 or more.
Do you have [your favorite videogame]?
If you don't see the game on the floor, we may still have it in the "vault." We try to introduce new
games periodically, so you might see the game in the future. You can see what games we currently have at our Pasadena location here and our Northridge location here. Our current game list is available here,
and we announce new games on our Facebook page, so follow us for updates.
Do you buy/sell games?
We do buy games sometimes- our interest depends on title, condition & price. If you have a game you'd like to sell,
email us some details. We generally don't sell games, but let us know if there
is a particular game you are looking for and we might be able to help you find one.
Is it ok to take pictures/video in the arcade?
If you are just taking non-commercial pictures/video to share with friends, that is no problem. We simply ask
that you do not impede other guests. If you would like to set up a commercial shoot, send
us an email describing your request. We've done lots of press interviews, so we may be able to accomodate your request once
we learn a bit more about it.
Where did the idea for Neon come from?
Neon Retro Arcade grew out of Mark and Mia's personal collection that we've built up over many years.
We really enjoy sharing our collection with other people, so it was only natural that we would build
an arcade open to the public that preserves these timeless arcade games for future generations. This has been a
three year labor of love and we are thrilled to finally share our passion for classic arcade games with you!
Here's a video highlighting some of the work that went in to completing Neon Retro Arcade.
