This game is cool in the way it combines 2D character sprites with 3D rendered backgrounds. Also, the controls are simplified, so it plays quite differently from the first game. This game features some unbalanced characters, and skilled players can chain combos together into a nearly-endless attack. Some fighting game fans hold Marvel vs Capcom 2 as the pinnacle of arcade-based fighting games.

Story

Once again, players from the Marvel and Capcom rosters face off. However, this game features a whopping 56 characters to choose from! Originally, only 24 characters are playable, and remaining fighters were unlocked as the arcade machine "leveled up" (aka enough coins were inserted). But after using a cheat code, all 56 characters in Neon's game are unlocked and available to use. So plan out your roster as you take on these 3-on-3 battles.

Tips & Strategies

There are plenty of powerful teams- some of the most popular are Magneto/Storm/Sentinel or Magneto/Storm/Psylocke. Of course you could always pair your favorite characters with oddballs like Servbot if you wanted.
